ANGELICA STISKIN, a native of northern New Jersey, is internationally recognized for her versatility as a choreographer, performer, and dance educator. Her knowledge spans both worlds of commercial and concert dance offering a wide array of expertise. She proudly earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance at Marymount Manhattan College under the direction of Katie Langan, performing works by Shen Wei, Robert Battle, and Lar Lubovitch to name a few.
She has danced behind Justin Beiber and Disney Channel’s Shake It Up girls for the nationally televised Disney’s Christmas Day Parade. Angelica is honored to have assisted the Emmy Award winning Mia Michaels across the U.S.A. and Canada. Her professional career began early, performing as a guest artist in ASH Contemporary Dance Company by demand of freelance choreographer Billy Larson, and Adrienne Canterna’s American Dance Artists, dancing alongside Rasta Thomas and Travis Wall at the age of 14. She has also had the rare opportunity to perform a self-choreographed solo at Baryshnikov Arts Center’s Jerome Robbins Theater as an advocate for solo artistry in concert dance.
Miss Stiskin has been distinguished faculty of Joffrey Ballet School’s Jazz/Contemporary Summer Intensive since its birth, traveling the country to lead master classes and auditions, and instructs the Pre-Professional program at the world-renowned school in NYC. Angelica directed and choreographed a piece at NY Fashion Week for Fall/Winter Season February 2013—a rewarding collaboration with Louis Vuitton and Parsons School of Design.
Most recently, she’s been diving into projects with fashion designers and videographers, choreographing and discovering the impact of dance behind the lens. Look out for her work with the luxury comforts brand, Move Society.
